I have a problem with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In part, it supports the continued advancement of drug-based cancer treatments that are ineffective at best and devastatingly harmful at worst. There’s also the issue of pinkwashing — packing products up in little pink ribbons and telling us that their purchase helps fight breast cancer, when often these products are part of the problem.
