Living with Clariity

Check out my new posts for Living with Clariity!

Living with Clariity is a site dedicated to supporting and equipping moms to be better parents and family CFOs as they navigate the many monumental changes in life: getting married, having kids, buying a new home, changing jobs, putting the kids through college, etc.  I am really excited to be a part of this new project!

The Year in Review

Strangely enough, I seem to be in a similar position as I was a little over a year ago: eager to quit my “day job” so that I can freelance full time. Only this time, the job in question is a part-time position that was never intended to be long term. And when I left my job in marketing a year ago, I never would have dreamed that I would be where I am today in my writing career.

New Creative Projects

Not surprisingly, life hasn’t really slowed down very much so far this year. My new work plans and goals for 2010

Struggling with productivity

I haven’t been terribly happy with my productivity so far this week. It’s hard getting back into the groove. It’s almost like I am starting over. The part-time job does not need my services this week, and so I am trying to get used to being productive at home again and working a full day without any wedding distractions. It’s a bit discouraging, because I feel like I have spent the better part of three days in front of the computer and don’t have a whole heck of a lot to show for it.
