Our philosophy

Our goal at Have a Namaste is to provide you with tips and information that will allow you to make small but significant changes towards living a healthier, happier, more authentic life.

We believe that happiness comes not from wealth or possessions or things but from self-actualization, or the realization of one’s full potential. From the continued endeavor to be authentically you rather than what is easier, or habitual, or culturally accepted. Read more.

We believe that healthy living doesn’t have to be difficult or mysterious, but that adopting a few simple rules can effect profound changes in your health and well-being.  Read more.

We believe that true health requires proactive involvement; that in most cases you cannot expect a pill to address and rectify the underlying causes of disease, but that reducing our exposure to dangerous toxins and adopting healthier lifestyle habits can promote healing in surprising ways. About our founder

Karen Eisenbraun is a professional writer who has been researching topics related to holistic health and nutrition for several years. Although it began as simply a creative outlet, Have a Namaste has evolved into a holistic health resource as Karen grew more and more interested in this area. She is currently studying to receive a certification in holistic nutrition counseling from the American College of Healthcare Sciences.

A message from Karen: Have a Namaste is my collection of thoughts on living a healthy, natural, authentic life. Namaste is a Sanskrit word that translates as “I bow to you,” or “the divine in me honors the divine in you.” I chose Have a Namaste as the name for my blog because my writing helps me to be my best self, and I hope what you read here inspires you to be your best version of you.
