Changes are coming …

Now that my blog is approaching its one-year anniversary, I’ve decided it’s time for a new look. My blog hasn’t changed much since the very basic layout I created almost a year ago, and I think it could benefit from an upgrade. Besides, it seems appropriate to celebrate all the monumental life changes of the past year by adding some new life to the blog that started it all.

I’ve been looking for themes that are similar to what I have now — I like my color scheme and the parchment look. I really, really love this Colored Paper template from freethemelayouts.com. It’s not quite right for Have a Namaste, but something about it just really appeals to me. I haven’t found anything that’s perfect yet, so I might play around with some different themes and see if I can combine the elements I like. I’m also considering migrating everything over to WordPress so I can have more control and add some cool plugins. It’ll be an experiment. A time consuming one, no doubt, but a fun one. So don’t be surprised if the next time you visit HAN, things look a little different!
