So right now I am totally coveting these Haiku To-Go bags. They’re earthy without being too hippie, big enough for all the essentials plus maybe some workday extras like a magazine and a water bottle, yet small enough to use as an everyday bag. Since I’m starting my new part-time downtown corporate job this week, it would be nice to have a new functional yet stylish bag.
Haiku also sells a Karma Neutral collection, which is made with pesticide- and fertilizer-free jute. Very cool. My favorite, though, is the “Calligraphy” style from the original collection, although I can’t decide between chocolate brown or bamboo green (see left).
Of course, Ryan thinks I already have too many purses, but what do boys know about this sort of thing? My Osprey Veer pack that I’ve been carrying around lately is a bit too sporty for the corporate scene, yet none of the other bags I own really reflect my personality any longer.
The bags run $70, and since I’m working on getting my freelance business off the ground, it’s not really a good time to be out spending money on nonessentials. But isn’t a good versatile purse an essential?

I say go for it:) A girl can never have too many purses, especially if they are functional!
love em. just picked up to cute jute bags at boutiquemix.com. here's the link! http://boutiquemix.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=245
If the bags you have don't reflect you anymore, why not sell them on e-bay,craigslist,etc. and then use the proceedings to buy the one you REALLY want?
(Now, I'd just dump them all at Goodwill, but thought that offsetting the expense a little might make you feel better.)
P.S. I think they look great too. And Martin NEVER begrudges me a purse. Ryan just hasn't been around long enough yet to know better.
